The Fire Protection Union of Macedonia in collaboration with the Mayor of the Municipality Staro Nagoricane Mr. Milovan Stojkovski, the administration of the municipality, OPPS Kumanovo and the Directorate for protection and rescue, before about a year started an initiative for recovery of the voluntary firefighting in this area of the Republic of Macedonia. Firstly it was formed DPD `Kozjak` and this year according the Macedonian day of the firefighting „May 22“ in Staro Nagoricane it was held tactical-demonstrative drill as central manifestation of the Fire Protection Union of Macedonia. As to finalize the process of voluntary firefighting recovery, OPPS Kumanovo in collaboration with the Fire Protection Union of Macedonia organized training course for voluntary firefighters, which was realized by the end of October, 2014. The training curse was visited and successfully completed by 25 members of the DPD `Kozjak`.
