     In accordance with the Statute of the Fire protection union of Macedonia, on April 7th 2014, at 12:00, in the rooms of the humanitarian organizations "Dare Dzambaz" - Skopje, was held the Regular annual meeting of the Fire protection union of Macedonia.

     This year the national fire protection quiz competition was held in Skopje - Ilinden, it was organized by Fire protection union of Skopje and its filiation Ilinden, as one of the last year winner, and it was founded by Forest protection union of Macedonia. The competition was held in the community of Ilinden in the Cultural center on December 17th 2013, at 11:00 am.

      This quiz had 36 participants from the primary and secondary schools, and the total number of participants from all primary and secondary schools for this year quizzes was over 1000 students. For the quiz regularity cared the commission of 3 members.

      In the cadet competition, first prize won the team from city of Veles, second prize won the team from the city of Kocani, and the third prize won the team from the city of Sveti Nikole. In the junior competition, first prize won the team from city of Kocani, second prize won the team from the city of Krusevo, and the third prize won the team from the community of Ilinden. The mayor of the municipality of Ilinden Mr. Zika Stojanoski, and representatives from other communities and institutions from the city of Skopje were present during the quiz.

         The International Congress on Forest Fire and Climate Change: Challenges for Fire Management in Natural and Cultural Landscapes of Eurasia was held at 11-12 November in Novosibirsk, Russia. This international event bring together prestigious experts from all over the world, representatives of emergency services, forest managers and land management authorities, government and non-government organizations participating in forest protection and responsible for development of new strategies in forest fire management. They discussed the issues of wildland fire management in Russia and throughout the Eurasian region and their impact and significance towards climate change. One of the aims of the congress was to stimulate a cross boundary exchange of fire management experience and to contribute to the decision making process in this area on an international level.

        The Congress was organized in partnership with the Global Fire Monitoring Center (GFMC) in the frame of the bilateral Russian-German Cooperation in Sustainable Forest Management.

          Fire protection union of Macedonia was invited to present its organisation and experiences in the last 30 years.

        Also, in the same time with the Congress, the first International Exhibition for Forest Fire Fighting and Protection was held 11-13 November 2013 at Novosibirsk Expocenter (Novosibirsk, Russia), within the bounds of the project Forest Fire Fighting Technologies. Ecology. Climate – 2013.

 Involvment of the President of Fire protection union of Macedonia

     From 18 to 20 October 2013, Hotel Romantic in Dojran, organized by Macedonian Green Center, supported by USAID,  UNDP and Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of R. Macedonia, was held 10th annual meeting of civil organizations which work on the field of environment and sustainable development.

    The annual meeting was held in the framework of the USAID project for Municipal, climate change strategies project, which Milieukontakt Makedonija implements.

    The general goal of the tenth annual meeting was Green Agenda promotion, as a model for making local strategies for climate changes in Macedonian municipalities, and development of the coordinative body for collaboration between GO and Ministry of landscape and physical planning.

The conference was held on 04-05 October 2013, in the rooms of The Macedonian Slavic Univesity - department in Bitola. Over 40 scientific, expert and popular papers were presented, and about 100 participants from Macedonia and abroad were present at the conference. The Macedonian fire protection union presented its work and activities to the audience through the presentation “Voluntary fire protection - part of the fire defending system: Fire protection union of Macedonia”.

     At June 26th 2013, in the rooms of the Directorate for protection and saving, the meeting of the Head stuff for protection and saving (extended composition) was held. The topic of the meeting was alertness for managing with fires at open space. Fire protection union of Macedonia, participated with its own representatives.
